Planning a hibachi party should be easy. Find answers about pricing, setup, menu options, weather, payments, and more.

How much does a hibachi party cost?

Our standard pricing is $50 per adult and $30 per child age 13 and under. There is a $500 minimum per event. Travel fees, optional upgrades, table and chair service, and gratuity are not included in the base price.

Each guest receives two protein choices, fried rice, vegetables, salad, and the live hibachi cooking experience. Premium proteins and additional sides are available for an additional charge.

There is no strict guest minimum. We have a $500 minimum spend per event. Smaller groups are welcome and may use the remaining minimum toward premium proteins, additional food, or other available upgrades.

You can book directly through our website. Choose your service area, select an available date and time, and submit your reservation information. A $50 deposit is required to secure your chef and reservation.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and holidays. Popular dates can fill quickly, but last-minute availability may still be available.

We accept cash, Zelle, and Venmo. Credit card payments are also available when arranged in advance and are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Gratuity is not included in the listed price. A 20% gratuity is suggested for your chef based on the service and experience..

Our standard protein selections include Chicken, NY Strip Steak, Shrimp, Scallops, Salmon, Tofu, and Vegetables. Each standard adult meal includes two protein choices.

Yes. Popular upgrades include Filet Mignon +$10, Lobster +$15, and a third protein +$15. Noodles, extra rice, edamame, and gyoza are also available as add-ons.

Yes. We can prepare tofu and vegetables for vegetarian and vegan guests. Please let us know about dietary preferences when confirming your final menu.

Yes. Gluten-free meals can be prepared using gluten-free soy sauce when requested in advance. Please notify us before your event so the chef can prepare accordingly.

In many cases, yes. We can accommodate common dietary restrictions and separate certain ingredients during preparation. Please tell us about all allergies in advance.

For severe or life-threatening allergies, please contact us before booking so we can review whether the cooking environment can safely meet your needs.

Our standard menu does not contain peanuts or sesame products. However, please notify us about all food allergies before your event so we can review the preparation requirements with you.

Unless you add our table and chair service, guests should provide tables, chairs, plates, eating utensils, and salad bowls.
Kinzo Hibachi provides the chef, hibachi grill, cooking equipment, ingredients, and live hibachi experience.

 

Yes. Table and chair service is available for an additional $15 per person. Please request this service in advance so we can arrange the equipment for your event.

Most events last approximately 1½ hours. The live cooking portion usually takes about one hour, depending on the size of the group and menu.

Your chef will normally arrive approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to unload and prepare the cooking area. Please have your guest seating and tables ready before the chef arrives.

The chef needs a dry, covered cooking area. Suitable options may include a garage, covered patio, tent, covered balcony, or another protected area.

If no suitable covered area is available, the event may need to be rescheduled.
